Who wants to play Freeper Bigot Time????
Edited on Fri Dec-22-06 02:56 PM by originalpckelly

"'I do not apologize, and I do not retract my letter,'

Damn, ain't that comforting in these insane times.

This controversy has really divided many Freepers. As far as I can see, If you perceive Islam as just another religion, than Goode is out of line. But if you perceive Islam as an 'enemy combatant,' than it is not entitled to the same protections afforded other religions as guaranteed by our Founding Fathers. I'll leave it to the rest of you to discern the difference.

-------------------------------------------

'I called the congressman's office to voice my support 202-225-4711.'

When I called yesterday, the guy who answered the phone also had balls of brass. He was like, to paraphrase, "the congressman stands by his comments and has no intention of retracting his statement. He meant full well what he said. We are extremely concerned about immigration."

So then I asked him about legal immigration of Muslims, and he said that it needs to be closely monitored. Now that the GOP has lost an election being PC, these guys don;t give a Flying @$%#.

------------------------------------------

I don't think it's wrong or racist to hate somebody that want's to kill me, so ask any Muslim what it say's in the Koran about Infidels (that would be me & you) and it say's that it's alright to kill us. Therefore I stand with Goode and call them my enemy. I say kick Mr. Koran lover and the rest of them out of OUR country.

------------------------------------------

When the people that say we are racist finally have to bow down to the Muslim religion or get their stupid heads cut off then maybe they will listen to Virgil H. Goode Jr or the ones trying to keep these Muslims out of our country..If you want to be Muslim go home..I will tell you the truth I had never heard of Virgil H. Goode Jr until all of this started about this idiot wanting to use the Koran to be sworn in..I did however hear about the idiot Muslim that should have never been allowed to hold office in this country..I felt the same as Goode did but I had not heard about this man before...He has balls and like I said on another thread there should be more that stand up like he did and say what we want them to say after all they are working for the American people not the Muslim Terrorist..As for the person that said not all Muslims are terrorist then I say this..Why the H didn't they stand up against these animals when 9/11 happened instead of jumping up and down praising the terrorist..Then is when the government should have rounded ever last one of these people up and shipped them back where they came from.. God gives us the ability to know when to take up for ourselves and I feel it is time we all here in America did just that..I will not go alone with the Jones I will make up my own mind and this is not right not at all..

^^^^I think this one is typing with his head cut off.^^^^
------------------------------------------

There are about 1.4 billion Muslims in the world. In the United States, there are about 7 million Muslims.

“Imagine if all were terrorists,” Ata said.

Possible veiled threat?

------------------------------------------

I respectfully disagree. They mean to kill us or convert us. No if's and's or but's. Do unto to them before they do unto us. I like my head connected to my neck, I believe in Jesus Christ and I would not look good in a burka.

------------------------------------------

the best of persons are sometimes driven to terrorism ??? That is quite possibly the most PC thing I've heard all week. Yes America is a free country, and some of us would like to keep it that way. Koranic values are NOT American values nor can they be by your own definitions. That I think is the point of all this Ellison business.

------------------------------------------

It would seem to me that those who DO kowtow to CAIR are the ones who are "Islamophobic." Humanids like those in the DemocRAT Party and the MSM are the ones I would consider as being "Islamophobic." Goode's remarks show that he IS NOT afraid of them.

-----------------------------------------

"..the fact that the Qur'an is unsuitable for oath-taking in the United States.."

The Qur'an is unsuitable for use in the US or any other western society. Besides, should a Muslim decide to take an oath on the Bible it will still not prevent him from deceiving the infidels.

-----------------------------------------

You shouldn't be swearing an oath to satan, the god of their religion.

^^^ You misspelled Santa, oh wait... ^^^

-----------------------------------------

And, I am one of those that would like to see this country rid of all Muslim's.

Go ahead call me worse than the KKK.

As far as I know, the Muslim's are the only people trying to kill all of us "infidels" and take over the World.

^^^ You might want to look at that new "Left Behind" game. Oh, and you are worse than the KKK because you walk around in normal clothes, no one can tell you're a bigot.^^^

-----------------------------------------

Quite a flap over the letter.

Don't worry. In another ten years or so, the most common name for babies here will be Mohammed or Mustafa or whatever.

Who knows? Maybe the Pedros will have enough gumption to send them home.

-----------------------------------------

muslims pride themselves on their perfectly desired ability to lie so convincingly that folks just fall down and worship what they say. I prefer to look at what they do while they are spinning their evil lies. Like fly planes into the WTC, Pentagon and a field in Shanksville, PA for openers. No, I will not deify this one as if he somehow is different. He must adhere to the principles (and I use the term very loosely) of islam or be shot or something worse. Sorry, both can not be true. Why would anybody become a muslim if they didn't buy into the beliefs of the religion? Makes no sense. People, WAKE UP before it is too late. (If it isn't already to late.)

A muslim is a muslim is a muslim. Their intensions are evil.

This Goode isn't. His name is no reflection on his intensions. Lying is the first thing they learn. They do it Goode.

^^^I'll have to add this one's freeperisms to the dictionary.^^^

-----------------------------------------

Here are the source posts of this vile bigotry, you will notice that a couple of them are actually human beings still, and they did actually challenge the bigotry:

1. Keeping Muslims out of the country??
Edited on Fri Dec-22-06 03:01 PM by BOSSHOG
That's interesting since Ellison was born in this country. I guess the "conservative" thing to do is take the voting rights away from citizens of his district. Free republic members should promote the immigration of racist assholes from European Christian Nations to this country.

And just when the hell are all these "christians" going to start stoning to death those who work on the sabbath? Or will they continue to just pick and choose in the magic book.

4. It's even better than that, Boss
Ellison's ancestors were in Louisiana in 1740. Not only was he born American, but I figure so was his 5-great granparents. Not that this would bother the Freepers, any more than following that pesky piece of paper called the Constitution, which, if memory serves, says something about having no religious test for public office and no establishment of a state religion.

8. Yeah, stupid us
We should know that this is a "christian" nation; the land of focus on the family, not the land of the free. Damned our liberal hides.

2. It's a safe bet
to assume that none of the above posters has ever read the Qur'an, has any clue that Muslims say the God of Jesus is their God, or have ever met any Muslim. Wonder if they would call Dr. Mohammed who is going to do their heart surgery the names they call here?

approximately 30% who still support Bush. I can't believe there is that much stupidity in this country.

15. If they knew anything about Islam, they would know that Jesus is one of the major prophets
not the son of God as believed in Christianity, but a damn important prophet. Almost as important as Mohammad.

17. More important than Mohammed.
They think Jesus wrote the book, but Mohammed told them how to interpret it... so to speak.

16. Boy, they're stupid.
I realize bigotry is born of ignorance, but their basic lack of understanding of the Qur'an is just idiotic.

Maybe if they would READ that book, they might discover that Christians or any other God-fearing person is NOT an infidel in the Muslim faith. They also might try the Bible while they're at it - hate was not something Jesus practiced.

19. What's weird
...about this is that Rt-wing Xtians are more paranoid and militant against Muslims in the US than Jews in the US. And yet, much of the violence perpetrated by Muslims in the Western world are towards Jews and synagogues. Yet the columns slamming all Muslims, and the venom on talk radio, all comes from Christians. And it was the ADL and other jewish organizations that condemned Dennis Prager's remarks about Ellison.

There is a tolerance gap this is lacking in Christianity today. It has to do with women, it has to do with people of other faiths, and it has to do with people of different sexual orientation. Apparently, it also has to do with people of other races; hence the split in the Church during the desegregation movement. I do not see Muslims speaking this way about Christians. Even Ahmenijad (sp?) for all his wildness has spoken positively about Christianity. Its become more clear to me than ever that there is a cancer in the church today and unless Christians who've really read and understood the bible stand up to these Christians-in-name-only, the church will continue its descent into irrelevance.
