BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Bomb blasts killed 15 people in Baghdad on Wednesday and suicide bombers attacked an Iraqi army base as President Bush ended a three-day review of Iraq policy and said he would not be rushed into making changes.
After meeting with top defense officials at the Pentagon, Bush defended his decision to delay until the new year a speech on the administration's increasingly unpopular conduct of the war.
He wrapped up three days of meetings on Iraq with U.S. and outside experts a week after a high-level U.S. panel recommended the primary mission of U.S. forces in Iraq evolve to training and supporting Iraqi forces to allow American combat troops to withdraw by early 2008.
Bush gave little hint a big change was on the way in his administration's increasingly unpopular conduct of the war.
