Would You Vote For Any Republican For President In '08?
Edited on Tue Aug-01-06 04:03 PM by ThomWV
It is unimmaginable to me that I would vote for any Republican for President in 2008 no matter what the circumstance. Can you?

17. I second that "are you fucking crazy"
It would cover my answer to this question as well. Frankly, I can't see myself voting for ANY republi-CON, pretty much EVER. I just can't see it. They're in favor of FAR too many things that I'm against, and against FAR too many things I'm for. And it's also who they're all in bed with that is utterly repulsive to me.

I don't buy books by crooks.

I don't reward bad behavior in my children OR my brother-in-law.

And I don't vote republi-CON.

I believe in a divided government, so I would consider a decent honest man from the opposing party.

That is, if anybody can find one.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

I like what the Democrats stand for, I want to make sure they follow through.

Nothing like the threat of losing power to make sure they keep their promises.

48. Chuck Hagel took to the Senate floor this week,
and gave what i thought was a scorching kick in the butt to Bu$h, and i admired Hagel for doing so. I would have preferred to have had a Democrat do it, but i'd vote for Joe is that scenario.

52. I'm glad we will neer have to make a decision like that one!
I can't see ever voting for aa Pug either. I chose Leiberman because I know he's one of the most controversial Dems right now, and I picked a Pug I thought was at least to a degree respected by some Dems as his opponent.

You get my point though. If you pick the worst Dem and match him/her against the most acceptable Pug, well......

Thank God Joe will never get the Dem nomination, so no one will ever have to make that decision!

If they were the last party on earth, HELL NO
Too bad for the Repugs, I'm one of the sought-after "swing voters" who was a moderate before they educated me with more than a decade of their bullshit. Thanks to the GOP, I'm moderate no more. And they'll never, EVER get more than my suspicion and contempt from here on out -- even if they ran a gay, bong-smoking Jesus who promised a completely transparent government and no more war except in true defense of the country.

I wouldn't trust a Repug to add 2 + 2 and get 4...and MEAN it.

Never ever ever would I ever vote for a republican. Nice how they tie in estate tax breaks for the mega-rich to the minimum wage bill. I would rather be dead than ever vote republican.

43. I'm not sure
On Election Day 2008, I'll fill in the little circle next to the Democrat's name.

Whether the little circle will be added to the Democrat's vote total is a different story.

But even so, I still must vote Democratic. The fate of the world is at stake.
