Is it? Or did I just invent that memory from my college days.
Is it or is it not a crime to profit from war?

3. I doubt that it is a crime unless like Prescott Bush you are helping |
|
the enemy. If it were a crime then no one would be making weapons, etc. Which might be a good idea. However I think the real objection is more of a moral objection. If you make TOOOOOOOOOO much from the war then it is seen as unpatriotic because you really are not helping the nation. I would guess that helliburtin is way over TOOOOOOOOOOOOO much.

5. There shouldn't be any profit in war, period. |
|
General Smedley Butler knew what he was talking about, and his message is more relevant than it was in the early 20th century.
