10. That exactly is my view too! |
|
It is all a waste of time to expect any of them to do such a thing at this point in time when they had hardly lifted a voice to protest any of the devastation their party has wrought on the nationa and the world.

2. None of the above....It rarely works that way. Former senator Don Riegle |
|
of Michigan and ex-New York mayor John Lindsay are about the only major two I can think of in the last 35 years.

although he didn't become a democrat in name, he voted for dem leadership thus effecting a change in the Senate leadership. In the years following his switch to Independent, his voting record has been more liberal than most Senate dems.

3. Schwartznegger seems to be moving away from his party toward |
|
the left. Maybe he thinks he can make a little hay off of the Kennedy legacy since he made sure to marry into it. He's been trying to be a Reagan but that dope's failed policies and the mess he left this nation in pleases only the extremely rich and/or the extremely stupid.

|
ideology & agenda...just as he was a fascist right-winger when he took office, just like Bush he's campaigning as a moderate almost Democrat....but that will ALL change after elected, just as he changed right after the recall election...into his corporations bitch!

11. I dunno.... in the end he is a me-first opportunist. |
|
If he decides he wants to stay in politics, and he thinks the only way to get ahead is to become a democrat - then that is what he will do. Nothing to do with ideology - just sheer opportunism.

4. How about we win some elections instead? |
|
Wouldn't that be pretty cool?
I don't particularly dislike Snowe or Chafee, but I'd rather throw some of the rest of the bums out.

9. None! They own the electronic voting machines why would any want to leave? |
|
They have all the money & power. Why would any republican be so stupid as to leave? They are republicans because they believe in the sick, elitist, imperialistic republican ideology.
None will be leaving.........After they steal elections to keep the republican majority...that's when the real fun for the republicans will begin.
Why would any of them want to leave?
