Comair 5191 Memorial dedicated today. I waited until
evening to visit it.

5 years ago Comair flight 5191 crashed at Bluegrass Airport killing 49 people. Douwe Blumberg created the memorial for the 49 souls we lost that day. Each bird symbolizes those lost. Memorial dedicated on 8-28-2011.

2. Thanks. The memorial allowed for good candid opportunities.
I converted one to Black and White

6. I'm so glad it was tastefully done.
The university waited until the night before to erect the sculpture, so it would l be there when the morning breaks.
