1. Stealth?!?
What stealth? The author said he wanted to write an anti CS Lewis book from a humanist perspective. Its an openly humanist story. Nothing stealth about it.

5. They are just trying to discredit us and the film.
If we can only get our message out by being sneaky it means that our message is not legitimate. Same thing for the film. If the messages in the film are less-than-straightforward then it can't be on the level. This of course shows a distrust of subtlety and nuance as well. Sort of an anti-intellectual thing thrown in on the side.

3. Kidman comment
The star of the film is Nicole Kidman, who happens to be Catholic. In previous interviews, Kidman said she would not do a film that was anti-Catholic.

Wonder if she'd do a film that was anti-$cientology?

4. Gah!
If the fundies don't like the "message" they don't have to see it. It's certainly not going to harm anybody. Did we picket their precious S&M Jesus movie? No, we just let it be.

Freaking hateful control freaks make me want to scream.

The fundies and the right wing blogosphere got to jerk off over The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe last holiday season. They got to enjoy their blatently anti-atheist, anti-Jewish, anti-Muslim, anti-Hindu movie, so they can grit their teeth and live through this.
