anyone seen dr jonn matsen (nd in vancouver canada)? re: cfids |
|
hi i had posted several months ago about my bout with cfids. i feel information wise i am at a wonderful point.
based on several years of trying and researching, along with a few alternative practitioners i feel confident that my body is fighting against the mono and ebv virus, as well as mercury. i saw another alternative practitioner this past month and she confirmed that i had these viruses (and the ebv was active) and mercury. she also confirmed adrenal/hormonal and liver weakness
so the long and short of it is i would like to know if anyone has had any experience with this naturopath? he sounds along the lines of what im looking for to take the final step but that would be a huge decision and i would love to get any information that can help with this
thank you so very much... jude

chronic fatigue immune dysfunction "syndrome" everything that can be labeled is but in this case the cfids does describe me pretty well. im profoundly fatigued and have a pretty weak immune system
it appears that much of the population has ebv (or other viruses) in their bodies that can remain dormant until there is a trigger that activates it. so for some people it remains dormant and for others it gets triggered it can be via an accident or illness (i had a bad case of mono) or giving birth etc
anyway i definitely need to address the hormonal and liver weakness. im french/irish/german
on edit: i left out an important piece of information re: dr matsen - he wrote "eating alive" books so perhaps this will be familiar to someone....
