Ten Years ago today!
Hee Haw. Hee Haw.

I actually liked the Donkos for a while. It was nice to see them finally win. But I still hate the NFL and have no favorites anymore.

1. Quite the game that was.
Packers were the supposed juggernaut going for their 2nd straight title. Denver barely made it to the game, having to go on the road to win.

Then there's the whole late Terrell Davis TD question: did Holmgren tell his defense to step aside? It shouldn't even be something to be ashamed to admit. Hell yes you let the Broncs score, and you put the ball in the hands of the guy who has a good chance to tie the game for you. Otherwise Denver milks the clock, you never even touch the ball again, and the game is over right there. Give your team a chance to control their own destiny. Don't pin your hopes on a fumble or a problem with the GW field goal.

3. One image that will always be remembered. "The Spin" >>

BTW, if other's don't know what fishwax's avatar is, it is the logo of The City and County of Denver replete with the "cash register building".

5. That's definitely an iconic play
I've read a few Broncos players comment that when they saw him go up like that, they were fully confident the Broncos would win. (Which is pretty much what I felt too :))

The logo really caught my eye in the bid for the convention, and I'll be flying it 'til then :toast:

6. OMG. Can you say bandwagon jumper?
We better not hear you start pulling for Denver when they become good again.

Because you'll be a flip-flopper.
