Any East Coasters watch Letterman tonight?
Has anyone on the East Coast watch Letterman tonight?

I heard he had a beard. Did he make any Iowa jokes?

Was it any good?

1. It was kind of moving
He made some nice comments about the writers, without going too over the top.

3. The Top Ten was great!
He had ten striking writers, mostly from The Daily Show and Colbert Report, reciting the ten demands of the WGA. Top Ten style.

6. Cool!
Dave's company Worldwide Pants produced the "Strangers with Candy" movie.

He loves Amy Sedaris (he's had her on even though she had absolutely nothing to promote, no movie, no book--nothing)

He's even had Stephen on twice in about two weeks.

Dave rocks!

(sorry about the quality of the image)

4. He talked about his beard and the strike.
And interviewed one of his employees. Plus Robin Williams who showed clips from his USO show.

Craig is opening with a sketch of himself bearded, in Scotland, shepherding Dolly the cloned sheep.

7. Thanks everyone...
...I planned on watching it tonight regardless (I'm on the West Coast and still will watch it), but I was interested to hear what others thought about him returning.
