Hey Sore Losermen! You LOST! Get OVER it!
Your complaints about Diebold and touchscreen electronic voting in New Hampshire is ridiculous.

You crazy moonbats! You Conspiracy Theorists! To say this discrepancy is reason for an investigation is the most ridiculous kind of moonbattery. You make yourselves look stupid and like "sour grapes" crybabies.

Diebold is a fine, upstanding company, unfairly smeared. You're just mad becuase YOUR candidate lost. Get over it before you bring down the whole Democratic Party with your whiny blather.

Move on. Grow up. That is all.

This has nothing to do with Edwards. He obviously wouldn't have won in NH no matter what.

But thanks for proving my point. I am such a Sore Loserman! There is absolutely no way that any concerns from any Sore Loserman could come from anything other than moonbattery and sour grapes.

Thanks again for your comments. I have always said that irony is dead in Imperial Amerika, superseded by Orwellian "reality".

Losing NH is equivalent to losing the nomination irrevocably? Only to Tweety and the rest of the Blowhard Punditocracy.

And you, or was that just a rhetorical flourish thrown like sand in my eyes, squid-ink in the water, to confuse the situation and "win" the argument.

Why not just call me a Sore Losreman and tell me that I lost, get over it?

Oh, that't right, you have to find different words to say that same thing.

Well done, but I am in no mood to let you get away with it.

In fact, as I said before, the whole point of this thread was to see how fast it would take from those immune to irony and steeped in hypocrisy to come forward and make my point for me.

This isn't about Obama or Clinton or Edwards or any single candidate.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x2640123

But keep playing that one-note, please. It's tried and tested, it's loud, you don't have to think much about it, it's just there on the shelf waiting to be used like a club.

And it WORKS, to all but 1% for so of Imperial Amerikan Subjects, and about 30% of DUers (we are a self-selected group of mostly like-minded individuals, aren't we), as a complete shutodwn of opposition diaogue.

I can see why so many favor suchtried and tested Bushie stratagems.

Now, on three, step back and rephrase...but make sure you hammer on that same one-note. I'm just a crazy Sore Loserman with nothing but moonbattery and sour grapes on my side.

Ready? One... Two... Three!

25. A very wordy way to sidestep my question.
If the voting machines are rigged in one state, they probably aren't going to stop there.

So now if I am a presidential candidate and I know this, it would seem there are two options.

Blow the whistle and expose the fraud.

Or realize the game is rigged, there is no way to win, and drop out.

It is utterly illogical to continue a campaign as though there was no problem when you know the vote machines are rigged against you.

31. Not sidestepping. Your "question" is a non sequitur.
Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 08:12 PM by tom_paine
Every candidate believes they are going to win up until the very end. They HAVE to. Every candidate also believes (and I am not sure they are mistaken, given the nature and scope of the Bushie Lie Machine and the toadying MSM which readily and happily magnifies the lies, undigested) that to bring up such is to expose themselves, as I have exposed myself, to the inane, candidacy-killing and conversation-stopping cries of "Sore Loserman" and "sour grapes".

Finally, due the lack lack of transparency and inspectability, due to the fact that it is clear that NEITHER side wishes to open up this can of worms, even after 2004 and 2002 when the evidence was right out there, even after 2006 in races like FL-18, where our own Democratic Leadership shut down the investigation, such evidence is unobtainable without investigation.

Investigations which will kill the candidacy of those who bring it up and hurt the Democratic Party as the Bushie Lie Machine revs up "Sore Loserman Redux". A perfect Catch-22, painting the oppsoition into a corner, which is what the Bushies specialize in...creating the no-win situation from which there is no escape.

Which was my point in the first place, albeit obliquely made.

You asked, I answered, I believe sufficient to explain this "inexplicable phenomena".

37. Allow me to get this straight.
It is your suggestion that Obama or Edwards believe they can win primary elections DESPITE the vote being rigged against them?

Here is my point from what you said:

Investigations which will kill the candidacy of those who bring it up and hurt the Democratic Party as the Bushie Lie Machine revs up "Sore Loserman" redux.

If they are unable to win a primary because of massive voter fraud, their campaign is already dead, the media, the Republicans, other candidates, no one can change that.

I also find it insulting that many here believe that Edwards and Obama are so crass that they know the vote is being rigged against them and they do absolutely NOTHING on behalf of their very loyal supporters, and apparently are more scared of perceptions than the safety of Democracy.

39. Ugh! We're going in circles here. Pointless.
I also said:

Every candidate believes they are going to win up until the very end. They HAVE to. Another of your bright and shining non sequiturs:

I also find it insulting that many here believe that Edwards and Obama are so crass that they know the vote is being rigged against them and they do absolutely NOTHING on behalf of their very loyal supporters, and apparently are more scared of perceptions than the safety of Democracy.

The situation is far more subtle and complex than your oversimplified non sequitur. You really do need to read up on the machinations that handcuffed the opponents of Caesar and Hitler, and other Bush-like characters throughout history (Pinochet, Marcos, etc.). This has nothing to do with Edawrds and Obama and what they known or don't know, believe or don't believe.

But, really, I have had enough of going in circles and trying to answer non sequiturs. :hi:

Please feel free to have the last word, if it will make you feel better.

58. I see. So the neither winners nor the losers
I see. So the neither winners nor the losers have any vested interest in doing the honorable thing and exposing fraud when they see it? That all the Democratic candidates, regardless of what place they're in are more interested in looking Presidential than acting in an manner consistent with the morality they advertise?

That even Kucinich is more interested in avoiding your clever little label of Sore Loserman than in doing the honorable thing and exposing fraud and corruption?

Richardson stepped down last night. He's got nothing to lose in attempting to expose any fraud.

And it appears that anyone who disagrees with your premise merely validates your presumption of fraud.

A person once told me that invisible unicorns were surrounding us-- an absurd number of them. Maybe hundreds. I asked how he knew that. He replied that since we can't actually see any unicorns, they must be invisible. Maybe he was right. Maybe he was wrong.

60. No, you don't see. But that's OK, and that's your right.
Edited on Thu Jan-10-08 09:49 AM by tom_paine
If Richardson or ANY Democrat makes this allegation, they will be excoriated 24/7 in the Bushie Media and the toady MSM that follows along. It will hurt the Democratic Party, mostly due to the fact that our media is a one-sided Bushie Joke and disgrace.

But it is the way it is.

Further, there is the Ruling Class' desire, both sides, to hold the ball of wax together, and propping up people's belief in a broken system is just a part of that.

And don't give me that bullshit about "invisible unicorns", as if I am stupid enough not to know the difference between an assertion and ironclad evidence.

But hey, at least I am not so stupid to think that absence of evidence equals evidence of absence, am I? Or so stupid to think that evidence materializes on it's own WITHOUT investigation?

Without investigation, Watergate is a Conspiracy Theory, Enron is a Conspiracy Theory, the Tuskeegee Experiments are a Conspiracy Theory...

You miss my points entirely, and the point of this post which is to mock the people who are using the same bullshit to shut down legitimate inquiry as the Bushies did to us in 2000. Another thing you missed completely is not that anyone who disagrees with me validates my presumption of fraud, what it validates is their inability to see that they are doing EXACTLY what the Bushies did to us in 2000, using almost the same words and the same sneering tones. Wanna know what else you missed? The fact that I only mentioned that validation to people who disagreed with me in that particular way. Is that scalp burn from ideas going over your head?

The overall point, big-picture wise, which you missed and probably will continue to miss, is neatly encapsulated in this thread, which sunk to the bottom because of it's conciliatory tone.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x2640123

Your type doesn't seem like THOSE posts, reasonable, calm, conciliatory, trying to build bridges, but let me post some bullshit mockery and you flock here like pigeons to shit all over it. Where are YOUR priorities?

Don't bother answering. The proof of your ilk is all over this thread, and in the other thread which has exactly 2 people responding.

If it bleeds it leads

No conflict, no audience

Apparently a number of DUers are just the same as the Idiot Sheeple we are supposed to revile for their shortsightedness, and just as willing to use Bushie-style memes to shut down legitimate questions with some smears and snarky ad hominems. Pot, meet kettle.

41. Does anyone remember when they actually enforced the federal laws against election fraud?
:(

It was kind of nice when we had a justice system, wasn't it?

44. OK, seriously...
I don't have a preferred candidate right now. But, I'll admit that Edwards' 17% throughout the night really struck me as "curious." Given the fact that I don't trust Diebold (not the machines, nor the company), I'll admit to being suspicious. And you know what? Given EVERYTHING that has happened with electronic voting and our elections process across the country (not to mention Florida, Ohio, and California), I think I have the right and every reason to question the results. As a matter of fact, I believe the more we scrutinize the election tabulation process, the less likely nefarious entities will be to misrepresent the results. It's like stealing something in a store where there are several security cameras. Yes, some will still try to steal (believing they can get away with it), but some will be deterred by the threat of extra scrutiny.

I mean - NOTHING. He "wanted to"...but...Not even let his voters KNOW they won...
Your candidate (like Kerry) swiped the issue under the carpet and has the chutzpa to ask us for our vote AGAIN! And you gladly give him your support while patronizing others who think GOP owners of NH machines wouldn't pull their tricks for the dem candidate they hate the most...Go figure

Voter fraud does not happen in the Corporate Homeland.

All arguments to the contrary are the lunatic ravings of conspiracy theorists.

So the MSM is ignoring the issue of election fraud, corporate media business as usual... :-(
