Dear Friends,
If you are concerned about electronic voting equipment being used throughout Ohio, please urge your election officials to offer public hearings to educate themselves and the public about the strengths and weaknesses of this new technology, and urge them to make a careful and well-justified decision, a decision that will impact us all.
Please consider signing the petition: "Ohio E-Voting Equipment Assessment"
hosted on the web by PetitionOnline.com, the free online petition service, at:
http://www.PetitionOnline.com/evoting/ ALSO... if you live in or would be willing to drive to Cuyahoga County next Wednesday,
we hope to present this petition to Cuyahoga County Board of Elections at their monthly board meeting on Wednesday, July 6th, at 9am. They are located at 2925 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44115(Northwest corner of Euclid Avenue and 30th, near downtown). Phone: 216-443-3200. If you have an hour to spend defending your right to vote and our democracy, please make an effort to attend. Let's show the board how concerned we are about this vital decision. Let's honor those who fought and died for our right to vote.
Even if you are not from Cuyahoga, please join us for the board meeting. We must do this now!
