The First Annual OUT OF IRAQ Labor Day Rotary Blog
on the Bourne Rotary, Cape Cod Mass
Monday SEPT 5th
from 1pm-7pm
DESCRIPTION: After a long fun-filled summer on Cape Cod, tradition finds the locals
bidding farewell to summer residents and tourists, sitting in bumper to bumper traffic
to go back to work and back to school. While waving goodbye, we hold our, ‘Thanks for
Coming’, ‘See You Next Year’signs for all to see. This Labor Day will be the start of a
new tradition. Come join us for an peace vigil on the Bourne rotary. Traffic will be grid-
locked guaranteeing your sign WILL be noticed.
On Labor DayWe will meet at the Peebles Elementary School on Trowbridge Road in
Bourne to walk the 1/4 mile distance to the rotary at 12:pm. Please bring signs, hats,
sunglasses, sunscreen and your camera.
Ice cold water will be provided.
Boston area TV channels always get film footage of the mass-exodus.
We could be famous!
