4. Nah. She knew beforehand that her statements yesterday would explode yet
she's ready and willing to do battle. I think she'll win in the end, but it's going to take time and a lot of hard work. She'll withstand the mud-slinging in the meantime. She's tough.
12. I disagree. As long as Limbaugh and other Repubs. keep speaking out
against her this will continue. ESPECIALLY since there are more important things to cover (such as Ali Soufan's testimony that waterboarding did NOT work).
Remember the pukes held their private little meetings with no Dems present. Wasn't there some other stuff that the pukes knew about, but the dems were never told? I seem to remember something.
14. Pelosi nor anybody else allegedly "briefed" on torture
should be made to resign UNTIL or UNLESS the people who proposed, authorized, and implemented torture have been duly prosecuted and then ONLY if they clearly knew about it and did nothing about it. MAYBE "knowing" about illegal activities is bad but actually authorizing and doing it is WORSE and we all need to make damned sure that the GOP and corporate mediawhores don't succeed in deflecting attention from THAT. Pelosi and other Dems maybe *knowing* something about the Bush (mis-)administration's torture of terror suspects (a highly dubious prospect to begin with) is a total non-issue as far as I'm concerned until Cheney and other Bush (mis-)administration officials responsible for what happened are securely behind bars.
