Syracuse Post-Standard is getting photos and video up.

Photos at the Carrier Dome. The other honorary degree recipients were impressive too - each could have been quite an honored guest on their own, including Seymour Hersch. I want to learn more about Irving Powelless Jr now. He's in a wheelchair but stood up for the hooding ceremony.

Photos at the Elementary School where his first wife, Neilia, taught. They lived down the street when Biden was in SU law school. The kids lobbied him by letter to visit their school and he did.

2. Yes - he spoke at SU commencement this morning, elem. school this afternoon

My friends and I thought he was going to the school tomorrow, so we didn't know the way we drove home passed not too far from the school!

I highly recommend the elem. school video :) - I'm watching it at the moment.

I got a little choked up there.

.... however the kids clearly dont share my enthusiasm as you can see their eyes glazing over by the time he got to, "I used to drive an old rattle and trap car...." :boring:

7. but LOL! at the poor things having to hold their arms up!

They're doing that thing you did in class where you arm gets tired and you hold it up with the OTHER arm .... holding your arm up while Biden talks, that takes some endurance!
