I just woke up my 4-year-old |

He's been very interested in the race. He's a smart cookie.
I just went up to his bedroom to give him a kiss. I whispered in his ear:
"It's all going to be OK for you now, baby. It's OK."
He looked up at me and smiled before drifting back off.

I have been so sad for the last eight years. My son had to grow up under the "threat of terrorism". Hopefully, we can now try to live a more normal life.

|
I had to send them to bed with a promise to let them know first thing tomorrow. It was just like New Year's Eve.
