It's sexist and turns people off. I'm a woman and a strong Obama supporter and I am offended when people call her "Barbie". I certainly don't like her or think she is qualified to be VP, but she is the governor of a state and has years of work experience. So I take offense at her being called Barbie the same way I would hearing that about any professional woman. She has won elections and been a governor and a mayor...not enough to qualify her for VP, but certainly enough to make her more than just a Barbie doll who's there to look pretty.

Palin is nothing more than a Barbie Doll/Show Girl for the neo-con's IMHO. I'm willing to bet that she got her position to be Gov of Alaska be being the Big Oil Barbie.
