2. Schieffer has been a bit heavy handed against Obama...
so I don't like him having the final debate slot. I'd prefer Lehrer or even Brokaw, for that. I worry about Bob asking something ridiculous to Barack, then again, I'm sure Obama will make him pay with an amazing answer if he does...

8. I agree-he obviously respects McCain and his "war hero" status more than anything else...

the way he jumped down Wes Clark's throat for DARING to say that getting shot down in a fighter jet doesn't qualify someone to be president (in response to HIS question).

7. Why not?
These are states the Democrats NEED to start winning over.

Good Lord, people, you can't really whistle past Dixie. Ask Mudcat.

9. He has no chance in Tenn. Having it in NC, VA, or even GA makes more sense

5. Yeah, but in 2 of the 3 debates, they'll be seated (I heard a while ago). That's to McCain's
advantage.

6. They're going to debate in Tennessee?
No shit?

Hell, we haven't even had a good poll done out of this state since April. It's untelling what the mood of this red-in-the-East, blue-in-the-West state feels about these candidates and they're going to debate here? :wow:
