Absolute PROOF that Media is Propping up Clinton - MSNBC states FACT Hil raised 10 Mil in 18 hours!

Here is a link to a recording I just snagged from MSNBC - and my JAW DROPPED at the absolute, baldfaced LIE that was just broadcast with no other reason but to PROP up CLINTON and keep this farce on the march, ostensibly to keep those Advertising dollars ROLLING IN, or to assist the RIGHT in damaging the Democratic party.

In this MP3 you'll hear the Host of MSNBC LIVE, a Mere 18 hours after the polls closed in Penn, state AS FACT that Hillary's Campaign win "HAS Translated into BIG BUCKS!!" That they've taken in TEN MILLION DOLLARS Since the Polls CLOSED. They are breathless, and right they should be, as this is UNPRECENDENTED (as she says) and I believe to be flatly Impossible... Corporate whoring at it's worst, cloaked in a nice breezy story..

http://www.takebackthemedia.com/clinton10millie.mp3

THIS IS AN ABOMINATION, there is no other way to perceive this but as blatant propaganda.

Not only is she touting a DOUBLE DIGIT LEAD, which as far as I understand is ALSO NOT TRUE, but along with Mark Murray (Deputy Political Director) they SLEAZE their way through SHEER PROPAGANDA that SUPPORTS Clinton's doomed campaign.

Listen to how they schmooze and slime their way around the money and push the campaign.

Clinton is Finished, and this farce needs to end.. WRITE to MSNBC and TELL them that they've have got to STOP spreading this propganda, that this Mark Murray needs to STAY OFF THE TV and stop MOVING the goal posts as evidenced in this MP3.

Totally irresponsible and way below the standards that MSNBC has seemed to be following, a step above CNN, and with Keith for whom I have tremendous respect.

PASS this MP3 to everyone you know, it is absolute PROOF that the MEDIA is propping up Clinton and TRYING to Change the RULES, convince folks that it's a VIABLE OPTION. Tell RANDI, let MALLOY know, send this around to everyone you can, KOS, MEDIAMATTERS, Etc - and let's all contact MSNBC:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10285339/

We get enough people passing this around we can send it to Keith Olbermann and tell him to report that his OWN STATION is propping up a fraudulent campaign.

Of course directly after this they ran the NC Obama BASHING piece, while excusing McCain, and THANKING the head of the Repig Party on the show!!

Please keep this kicked and Rec'd so people get a good look at how the Media is Propping up this doomed campaign DIRECTLY and Let's get this GARBAGE OFF THE AIR!

Anyone know a good liberal lawyer that wants to get famous for going after the media?

I'll bet there's a case here, and CBS, etc LOVE to report on OTHER cable shows being sued..

We need to form an action alliance and go after these guys.

102. Its another double digit lie - Clinton "received $8.3 million... in 20 hours"

Another Double Digit Lie

If you will recall, the Clinton campaign claimed to have raised $10 million right after her PA victory. That too was a lie.

Clinton, Obama camps spin madly on the day after primary Apr 24, 2008 06:22 PM

...Peter Daou, Clinton's Internet director, said the campaign received $8.3 million in Web donations in the roughly 20 hours after Clinton's Pennsylvania win. He said about 85,000 people, 70,000 of them new donors, made donations. The campaign invited the donations with a splash page declaring "Keep the Momentum Going. Contribute $5 below."

No telling how much of that can be used for the primary.

29. If "on track" is a synonym for "we are hoping" and "its possible"
then the whole thing becomes blatant and unverifiable spin. I don't believe any verifiable disclosure besides the FEC report will be available, and that lacks the detail to know for sure. And so we will hear about that 10 mil over and over and over....evidence?

97. Sorry to have to say this
but with the media in control and the polls so close the republicans will steal another one. Why in the fuck do we think that the same dirty tricks, the same rigged voting machines, the same lies and smears wont work on Obama or hillary or whoever runs on the dem side? Why do some seem to think that this election will somehow be different? That this year the fascists will decide to play nice? I hate to say it but Im convinced we are all going to be just as shocked this November as we were in 2000 and 2004 when fascist elements stole the elections. This election WILL BE NO DIFFERENT.

This bullshit is not about networks hoping to cash in on a democratic convention showdown...its about right wing control of the message, the constant spewing of fascist propaganda and maintaining control at all costs. Thats what this is about and that is why the republicans will be in the white house come January 2009. Watch and be amazed.

this is a FRAUDULENT STORY, a BIG FREAKING LIE, yet another by CLINTON. Does the Media CALL her on this?

No, they REPORT IT AS FACT.

THIS is who YOU want for President? When The Cackler tells you that your house is NOT going to be foreclosed upon because the Money is going to be here in 24 hours and then tells you that it's actually "in progress, targeted.."

SHE is going to run the economy?

21. Yup - Clinton supporters don't mind lying about EVERYTHING...
Edited on Wed Apr-23-08 04:28 PM by BlooInBloo
The Clinton supporter lie:
http://www.mydd.com/story/2008/4/23/1437/29488

On MSNBC a few minutes ago Terry McCauliffe announced the Hillary Clinton campaign raised $10 million online "with 50,000 brand new donors" since the polls closed in Pennsylvania last night. "The biggest day we've ever had." An impressive amount by any measure and, as I wrote last night, a clear sign that people do not want this primary to be over.

The truth:
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601070&sid=a_3hzhPjhrgs&refer=home

As of 10:30 a.m., Clinton had raised $3.5 million, 80 percent of which came from new donors, spokesman Mo Elleithee said, calling it ``our best fundraising night ever.''

The Clinton supporter lie:
http://www.mydd.com/story/2008/4/23/113754/921

After last night's decisive victory in Pennsylvania, more people have voted for Hillary than any other candidate, including Sen. Obama.

The truth:
http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/4/23/131539/929/684/501732

So see what they have done -- the Clinton campaign and Jerome have taken the roughly 215,000 net votes Clinton gained in Pennsylvania, and added them to the popular vote count that includes the unsanctioned contests in Michigan and Florida, and excludes caucuses in four states. How's that for inclusiveness?

It gets worse. That Michigan vote estimate? Obama wasn't on the ballot. If you count the "uncommitted" votes for Obama -- all of them anti-Hillary votes, remember -- that would add 237,762 votes to Obama's total.

Which means that in Clinton and Jerome's world, Clinton is ahead in the popular vote only IF you exclude four caucus states, IF you include two unsanctioned states, and IF you "disenfranchise" every voter in Michigan who voted against Hillary Clinton.

That takes a new and particularly audacious level of chutzpah.

EDIT: Forgot a few linkies.

Is acting like a child. No accepting the FACT that she cannot pass Obama's lead. So she sends Baby Hughey (Bill) to twist the facts.

41. Yep
Nothing keeps her from tapping into Bill's Columbia MONEY, and refilling her coffers while they claim that billions sent her FIVE BUCKS at a time..

I want to know WHERE this money is coming from..

Also, I was told that if you go to her site to donate FIVE dollars that once there you are forced to CHOOSE another number, the lowest one being TEN DOLLARS..

SCUM.

They try to shame you into at least doubling your $5 and donating $10 at least.

86. Maybe Obama supporters should start donating to Clinton.
Each could make 10,000 individual donations on $0.01 each. The processing fees alone would end the campaign.

the only thing it proves is that the MSM will say anything to get viewer attention and often gets it completely wrong.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why people who call themselves progressive liberals even listen to this garbage. Turn on PBS or NPR. Turn your stupid commercial stations OFF!

47. Well mathematically and with real logic...
...it wouldn't really be possible to "prove" the concept.

BUT, by the rules of journalism, MSNBC is clearly slanting the story and engaging in bad journalism.

Why? They want to keep Hillary in the race as long as possible because it boosts their revenues.

So I would agree that MSNBC IS propping Hillary up, in their own self-interests.

53. I believe it is time to go after the MSM on this
I'm just about ready to put together a list of the lies, obfuscations, propaganda etc that's being promulgated by the Media to keep this race going. It is TRAITOROUS, and akin to pushing Iraq, and once again they are doing it for money and to control the OUTCOME OF AN ELECTION. I don't see why this shouldn't be considered Election Tampering, and maybe some smart Liberal Lawyer should SUE these media guys for this.

We could blanket CNN, MSNBC and others with calls for this to END, to report RESPONSIBLY, they are damaging our COUNTRY and this should not stand. A Boycott? Hammer the FCC?

Ideas?

I'm serious, just about ready to start a campaign of our own... every blog, etc.

Anyone interested? I've got some connections, and we hammered Limbaugh real good years ago, he lost major advertisers, Big Ones.

IT IS OVER, and they need to quit bashing the TRUE CANDIDATE.

Now remember there is a damn big difference in fox news during the hours of 9 and 5 c t and fox news between the hours of 7 to 9 c t. Those two hours are roasting both hrc and obama....

75. So this is proof that "the media" is "propping" Clinton? lol
wow. So months of primary coverage can be consdensed in one comment by two MSNBC analysts.
Forget the Chris Matthews and Shuster's comments that earned them suspensions. Forget the right-wingers who praised Obama until Clinton was eliminated from the race. Forget that Pew study that found media bias in the first 5 months of 2007 Forget the cackle and Olbermann's bias and the press' indignation after the ABC tough questions against Obama.

This comment, according to this DU'er, erases all those factors.

Simply amazing..

77. The media are propping her up to keep her in the race...
...because it sells advertising, pure and simple. Always follow the money. They're milking it to get every single last ad dollar they can. Think of how many more millions of dollars will be spent on campaign ads on TV!

There IS a bias, and it's towards anything that makes the TV/Cable stations more money.

So, yes, the media are indeed propping Hillary up.

87. i thought those
yahoo/ap stories that were all over all day yesterday, on msn, as well as on my local news site, that "Clinton's PA win comes with cash prize; Still the underdog" were fishy.

I hate that they're trying to paint her as the lovable "underdog" too. she is not the underdog- she's the sore loser that wants to help mccain win- there were others that proclaimed: "While Clinton, Obama fight continues, Mccain picks up lead." just kicking back and relaxing.

i didn't believe the whole hillary is helping mccain bit, but now, i do. Oh, and then the "McCain criticizes Obama ad, says he wants to keep clean campaign." YAAAARRRRRGHGGG! she is making it some easy for EEEVVVVIIILLLLL mccain to look good!

(and I'M the skeptical one about all this). I told him that she couldn't lie about this because they have to keep record of all their finances and then it's made public at the end of the month.

If this is true this is probably the stupidest thing they've done in this grossly mismanaged campaign. There must be a monkey at the wheel of this campaign.

Who will win? They want HC or McCain...stop and think about why this is. Somebody is going to lose in a big way in this election, it is not Obama, Clinton or McCain, it will be either (main street and the world) or (The powerful elites) that is ruining our country...MAKE NO MISTAKE about it, they have no intention of giving this power and control up easily, McCain and the Clinton's are their choice because they hold allegiance to them and know they can maintain their influence with them in office...do you really think that is good for you and your families best interest?
