Hillary supporters......it has to be admitted....
This thing is starting to get away from her. She needs a strong performance tonight.

Obama has won 4 of the past 5 news cycles. The polls almost everywhere are moving in Obama's direction. He has all the momentum.

How does she turn this around?

...it begins with a strong performance tonight.

If the debate is a "tie" or a narrow win for Hillary, that won't be good enough.... it will tell voters that he's capable.

I think she needs to dominate tonight and hope he makes a colossal mistake or two.

1. I don't see that at all..
I see some gushing press coverage for Obama..
But I see little evidence that it is over..not by a longshot.

4. You are right... FAR from over...
...but she needs to change the momentum around.

She had this nomination "wrapped up" a month ago..... how did it get here?

Obama is catching fire nationally, and Hillary needs to stem that somehow, or this thing will get away from her.

5. Agree... big gaffe or two by Obama makes a difference at this point
He's relatively unknown still. I m confident Clinton will do well. She's very, very good in this format. obama not so much.
It's all about Obama tonight.

10. A WHOLE LOT of Americans will be seeing Obama for the first time...
...I agree... most of the millions tuning in will be evaluating him much more than her. She's a known quantity.

If Obama seems capable to America, tonight can be very big for him.

If he struggles, it could be very bad for him.

Tonight *IS* all about Obama in some ways..... but Hillary has to find the right punch tonight to slow down the momentum.

She should do well. It's a skill she has. If it was an oration contest it would be different.

12. This is the kind of classic build up that sunk Al Gore. The media rules.
All Obama has to do is show up and not make a gaffe and he will be called the winner.

14. I agree.....
If he is Hillary's "equal" tonight... that will be all many voters need to feel comfortable voting for him.

She has to be a CLEAR winner tonight to change the national narrative that is happening right now.

17. Unfortunately that is likely true - we all know how this works from
the past. Look and act presidential. Avoid gaffes. Seem authentic. And you get the nod as the winner. These things are literally more like beauty contests or job interviews than scholarly policy treatments. Don't fall on your face and don't insult the boss (American people) and if they "like" you... well that's good.

16. Here's the keyword/image for Hillary "heart".
She's running a heart based campaign now. Its all about hearts. America hearts. Down-home loving hearts. Its all about people backing them from their heart. Hearts, hearts, hearts. Love and people and hearts. This is what she needs to do to win, appeal to hearts of average working class people.

This will be my last post on this topic till after super tuesday, as I have to work 10 strait days of 12 hour shifts. My prediction is that if Hillary connects to people's hearts, she's going to win by a small lead. I think she can and will.

18. She is a weak candidate and a horrible choice for the nomination.
When Democrats start to pay attention, they realize that.

I'm not saying Obama is 100 percent wonderful; I have my issues with him, as well. But he is FAR better than Clinton.

19. Hillary takes a step forward and Bill pushes her 2 steps back.
Today it was the uranium mining story and the telling off of the 9/11 conspiracy theorist guy (Bill ought to know it's not just the unmedicated who have doubts about 9/11). Bill is a real asset . . . for Obama.
