The best solution for Florida and Michigan |
|
The state party leadership has to penalized for stubborn refusal to not cooperate with the DNC on the priamry schedule.
No delegates on firct ballot
On second Ballot they vote according to today's results, but the super delegates do not get to vote.
On the third Ballot they get into the free for all.

1. I think you may have something. |
|
I think the key would be no Superdelegates as punishment for leadership...the asshats who brought this on vs the voters.

2. Well I figure that we are going to a second ballot regardless |
|
and if not then the votes would probably not matter anyway.
Hillary does seem destined to be advataged on the second ballot and I am sure Obama supporters would object. But I fugre at that point Edwards has thrown support Obama's way anyway so it is likly a wash.
But the other side of this is that the seating of delegates is base on the rules committee report and ostensibly that is where Edwards is going to make the most emands since the rules committee is apportioned as well.

5. THE DNC gave them a month to change the date. This is all all the state parties |
|
They have to be penalized.

6. It's like punishing children for what parents have done. The party heads should roll... |
|
but this stalemate should not have been allowed to happen.
MI and FL are HUGELY important primary states.

4. Just a shame all around... and possible damage to the party |
|
Some resentment by voters in those states
