Caller to Black radio: He (Bill) nor any of his Black surrogates will be able to change my mind
Wow, the callers in into the Baisden show are not buying what Bill had to say.

The other comment I though was strong was "we have certain sensitivities other folks don't understand."

I'm so inspired to see the way the Black community is reacting to this, because in most cases folks have reiterated their love and respect for Bill and Hillary. Also, there is a sense of betrayal. The outrage would not be nearly as great if the Republicans were pulling this shit because we expect it from them.

There is just as much disappointment as there is outrage.

1. When I posted the reactions in my household after NH on this
board, I was roundly mocked. I know that these feelings are more widely spread this just our little corner of the universe and discounting them is at best insensitive and at worst, arrogant.

2. that's the word I was searching for...."arrogant"
After Iowa the Clinton camp went on the attack, which is politics as usual, but they attacked a very devoted & loyal constituency. After New Hampshire, their mood changed to "arrogance", and that will cost them in the long run. I hope we can get past this for the sake of the country, but right now I feel so betrayed and hurt by them.

I always loved & defended Bill Clinton, even at his lowest points, but campaigning seems to have brought out the very worst side of him. I liked him better as a statesman.

3. that`s the undisputed truth....
"Your enemy won't do you no harm
'Cause you know where he's coming from
Don't let the handshake and the smile fool ya
Take my advice I'm only tryin' to school ya.
Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes they don't tell the truth,uh
Smiling faces, smiling faces tell lies and I got proof."

4. Definitely betrayal and disappointment
It's kinda like how insults hurt more coming from friends/family than complete strangers.
