A GENTLE REMINDER ABOUT WHOEVER BECOMES PRESIDENT NEXT JANUARY:
It won't be George W. Bush or Dick Cheney.

That is all.

1. And, more likely than not, it will be a black man or a woman.
Unprecedented, either way.

2. Yeah, well, we'll just see about that, won't we!

Bush/Cheney '08!!!

On edit: I'm joking, of course, but isn't it still technically possible that Cheney could enter the Republican race and win? Or was there a deadline before which he had to declare? (Man, the venality of these people, that I actually have to ask that question!)

3. Jeb and Mary?
Now that would be interesting.

Jeb and Mary against Hillary and Barack. Bigots would have heart attacks by the thousands.

5. Very true.
Not to mention that we'd win in a landslide.

9. I never thought Kerry would win in a landslide.
After 2000, no one should have "misunderestimated" Bush again.

6. It might be Romney or Huckabee
just a gentle reminder.

7. But even if that happens...
...as bad as it may seem, I don't think it will be as bad as 2001-2008.

I really hope we don't see another 8 years like this for a very long time.

10. Yes we will, exactly like it
maybe even worse, especially with Huckabee. I had worked through my hopelessness and accepted it, and dang it, I'm going to have to work on getting rid of all that false hope again.

11. No but it could be Emperor Bush
That's what we're trying to prevent.
