Neighboring state. Millions of dollars. Dozens of campaign visits. He's done. Where the hell does he win? Michigan? That's probably McCain territory now. Nobody remembers George Romney. Imagine in Wisconsin if someone ran on the memory of Warren Knowles.
20. Actually Massachusetts was his best state. I think he beat Bush by
26 or something like that. Romney was supposed to win NH by huge amounts earlier. He spent a fortune and got creamed. No Massachusetts candidate has lost NH and won the nomination.
14. I don't think the Ghoulmeister is done. He did not contest Iowa or NH very seriously.
He is banking on the next round where his national rep will come into play. And it would be good for Democrats to have him win a few primaries to make it a three or four candidate race.
Look all the media attention is away from him and other candidates are going to be picking up his soft support as media focus is on them. Almost no one is passionate about Rudy and he has nothing to naturally fall back on.
We get to see Willard lose but still get his silvers which encourages him to anty up another $ 5 million and get hit again. If he had a total resounding defeat he might quite but these near misses just encourage him. It's like watching some poor insect fly into the window repeatedly - no learning curve. I just hope that he gets strung out all the way to the convention. I suppose hoping that he then puts his last 100 million into a 3rd party run would be too much to ask
This is such splendid torture it should be refined to replace water boarding.
