2. I Agree But
M$M would only use it to say see he can't take the heat and he's being a cry baby. That would be M$M time he won't need. They would play his words 30,000 times just like they abused Dean.

3. Elizabeth does some of that here...
Elizabeth Edwards appeared on Hardball Friday to give Chris Matthews a hard time about his continual ignoring of her husband’s campaign for the Democratic nod.

7. Thats bullshit
Tweety hasnt ignored his campaign. I seem to remember him visiting Edwards and following him and his supporters on the campaign trail a little before the caucus.

9. Other People Have to Carry That Voice for Edwards
That starts with us. Contact the advertisers for ABC, MSNBC, AND CNN. Is there a site listing their advertisers?

6. He and Elizabeth have mentioned it on Olbermann and with Tweety,
respectively, in the past couple of days. Not that it does any good. No response about it either time, of course. They KNOW they're ignoring him and WE know why.

8. He needs to project strength, not a 'poor pitiful me' whiner strategy
It is painfully obvious he is getting dissed by the media who are concentrating just on the two big money candidates, but I think instead of favorable attention, complaining would backfire on him.

10. Yeah, but if you think the coverage is rigged now,
wait until the election is stolen in November, then you'll really see the corporate press hard at work spinning.

12. How Sad
How sad that we've come to a place in this country where many, even most, people depend on MSM to tell us about candidates for the President of the United States.
And the MSM is owned by huge corporations.
Even if the candidates buy time and list their ideas, the hired flunkies will go on the air immediately after them to tear down and twist their ideas with their drooling and blabbering.

The free press is dead. How long can a democracy last without a free press?

Answer; It can't.

16. Stolen election......Ya know I agree and the reason
is that the Repukes have gotten away with stealing elections twice now and they have probably refined that success into something that we will be totally helpless with in 2008.....The Democratic Majority have had their efforts blocked by passing any meaningful election laws.So they got us......

11. Positioning himself as now #2 is his response, I think
On Countdown he seemed to want to frame it as now that he finished second, the race is really between him and Obama, even though we know it isn't--others are still competing, and there are many primaries to go. I think he's well aware of how any expression of concern will be seen unfairly and unfavorably, so his tactic was to try to play ball on the media's terms -- if they can handle only a "horse race" between two people, as they seemed to pre-Iowa in covering Clinton and Obama, then maybe he is trying to respond as, "ok, fine, now cover Obama and me."

14. Elizabeth has already has said this publicly several times ....
and last night on Hardball....Its obvious the Repukes dont want Edwards to run against and if you think the media is ignoring him now wait until the general election.....As long the MSM is owned by Repukes it will only get worse.....

15. Let me get this straight: He's running a campaign that is agressively anti-corporate.
He's specifically threatening media conglomerates.
And he's supposed to try to shame them into covering him more? Those media stockholders must grit their teeth every time they even see his name mentioned in a stinkin' poll.

It would be more consistent and probably more effective for Team Edwards to work on an enhanced alternative media program. Provide special access to independent media outlets. Ramp up the YouTube and Flickr stuff. Make some appearances on Second Life maybe. Buy ads only in independent and local media. Billboards. Sides of buses.

If he is going to be consistent, he should shun the big corporate media. He's the star. He's the story. If he makes important statements only to small media, those big guys are going to really look stupid.

19. This is a campaign tactic. If anyone should complain about the media
it is Clinton: all negative all the time. I have seen Edwards on every station the past two weeks, constantly.

It is almost like holding some one with their hands cuffed, the media did Howard DEan Wolf Blitzer , he also had a hand in doing Gore in, with the Internet junk. Yet we listen to him
