Edwards headlines this morning
On my way into work I noticed almost no mention of Edwards. Since I went to bed last night everyone seems to have agreed that Obama victory was (it was) decisive ...and that Edwards is out of the storyline-instead they are focusing on Hillary's loss. Oh and Huckabee is a populist now and everyone LOVES them some populism this morning.... but not Edwards.

5. Yes, clearly
the guy gets completely outspent and still gets 30% of the vote. And he has gotten almost NO coverage to speak of-that was part of the purpose of how suddenly everyone loves them some populism.

10. Huckabee spent far less than Edwards, was outspent by more
and won. It's not all about the money thing.

2. I don't suspect we'll see obituaries like this from the MSM for Romney, McCain and Guilianni.

4. no (laughs) the MSM clearly hasn't gotten the RNC memo on how to cover this yet
One of the things I also noticed was that yes they covered huckabee winning but they clearly aren't sure how to write this story yet. I would suspect that they are waiting on Luntz to finish his focus grouping for the RNC, we should have a clearer story line come Sunday ( I would suspect that Rudy will suddenly be alive again).

6. Good
I do think that Edwrds timing of his speech was very good last night-right in the middle of primetime and halftime of the Orange Bowl (for those of us who flipped over)

11. CNBC Hack was railing on about Populist Message of Edwards Bad for Wall St. & America...
The consensus was that of all the Dems that Hillary was the one that wouldn't upset Wall St. because they were familiar with her policies. :eyes: So...they really don't want Edwards. Just like Kucinich has been ignored. Don't want those dirty hippies starting to bring class action suits and marching in the streets over corporate corruption...

12. That is pretty much it

either parallel or in concert with the Wall street types the DC punditry as shown that Hillary is a "known known" a know quantity and quality whereas Edwards is not (his clan hasn't shown proper loyalty if you will) DK never will be/can be trusted and Obama...well they are tolerating him for a while but they have the shovels ready to bury him soon too I am afraid.

If either Edwards or Obama can stay aloft through Super Tuesday there will be trouble inside the castle walls but that, staying aloft, is going to be hard to do when the oil starts pouring down.
