In this case tho I think it is not so bad the bill failed. I think they just wanted any bill to pass so it will look to us like they are listening. I say take some time and pass a real bill that addresses all the concerns. Will that happen? I wish I knew.
13. Mike Bloomberg hasn't said where he stands on any of the issues
And he'd have to have some pretty good positions, like ending the war on drugs, to convince me I should vote for him over a Democrat. And I highly doubt that he will do this.
14. Actually, the dysfunction is that its NOT a two party congress.
At least not when you have the DLC'ers and the "Blue Dogs" or "Blue Balls" (or whatever the damn DINO's call themselves) voting Republican all the time.
Bloomberg ain't the solution, but at least he ADMITS he changes parties whenever it's convenient.
