Tweety Twit On Morning Joe; basically campaigning for Fred Thompson.
Edited on Wed Jun-27-07 06:53 AM by EV_Ares
Says what Ann Coulter does is what Ann Coulter does discussing the phone conversation between Elizabeth Edwards & Coulter when Mrs. Edwards called in.

Says liberals & intellectuals look down on TV entertainers leading into saying but Fred Thompson has played powerful and important people in his roles. Says Thompson can win the whole thing or republican nomination because who he is.

Most people look up to him because he doesn't play Ronald Reagan, he is Ronald Reagan.

Tweety is actually worse than Faux news because what you get from Faux is what you expect to get from Faux.

Tweety and MSNBC really is worse because people other than us watch it and do not watch it as a right wing conservative network show as most everyone knows Fox is.

1. Thompson is not Reagan. He is George W. Bush
As is whoever their party nominates. By the end of this campaign, the Republican nominee's middle name will be Bush.

Check out this ad from the Michigan governor's race last year. Expect these kinds of tactics, because it worked:

2. Got that right. I really, really do hope that the Dems, the people all
see through their tactics this time around. It gets really discouraging all of the RW talk shows, all of the conservative slanted MSM shows. No wonder people still think Saddam had something to do with 9/11.

Also, the DLC, Dem leaders really are going to have to grow some balls. The days of tough talk, threats with no follow-up are over. They are now considered weak with weak leadership and no direction.

They have to stop caving or their leaders anyway.

I will continue to hope.

6. Too Funny
:applause:

Maybe when dem candidates go on his show, be they male or female, they should douse themselves in Old Man
Cologne so Tweety will come back to the light (if that's possible).

7. I don't get this Fred Thompson mania...
apart from "good looks" and name recognition the guy does not seem to have a backbone. He was a lobbyist for heaven's sake. How could he be for small government? What are they smoking?

8. Matthews was not speaking of serious qualities (obviously)
Let's not be like the Republic party.

While the media can be dimwitted (like MSNBC for having idiot Coulter on who is not qualified to be on as a legitimate panel person) they often talk about the qualities, superficial or not of candidates.

10. It's the same as it was for Rudy
Wait until they shine some light on him. It will fade away and they will be left with nothing and still wondering what happened to George Allen.

11. republicans don't know the difference between men with power and acting
They think that, since Thompson "acts" tough and is given intelligent dialogue by the writers on his acting projects,.he must actually "be" tough and intelligent.

Republicans don't want to have to think. They just want someone who seems to be a leader-whether this person is merely acting or not matters not a whit to them.
