Missing soldier's family in shock
This soldier mentioned how bad it was in Iraq to his family. Guess that makes him a "traitor" instead of a hero to the Bushies, huh?

"...Brother 'wasn't the same'

Vasquez said his brother returned to their home north of Houston a month ago on a 10-day leave, and appeared changed by the war.

"He just said how pretty bad it was over there," Vasquez said. "He wasn't the same on the inside anymore. I guess that's what war does to you."

Vasquez, fighting to hold back tears, described his brother during the visit as "cold and quiet," and largely uncommunicative.

"He said he didn't care any more if he were to get killed. I noticed that change in him. He got a little cold in the inside."

1. Saw the brother on TV. He is agonizing over thoughts of his brother being
tortured by his captors, he was coming apart on TV - stopped just short of saying it was better to be killed on the spot than taken prisoner. This poor family is devastated.

And thanks to this torture-loving, Geneva convention-hating administration, all bets are off when it comes to what might be happening to his brother.

I just ached for this guy...if this were my sibling, I think this would kill me.

4. The die has been cast, and many will have to face the
consequences of their actions. This is two soldiers, and I have all the confidence that the propaganda machine will use it to encourage more killing

2. But, But, But...
...I thought that a lot of good things are going on over there. They tell me that between the brad & angelina and tom and katie stories.

Will the media make a connection between our torture happy administration and anything that happens to these 2 young men? PUHLEEEZE!

maybe the first term of the bushco presidency people were caught off-guard, but by the second term there was no ambiguity what would happen if you enlisted.

We have bombed the crap out of a country that HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11, and are now in the middle of a civil war that we caused

This isn't a question of winning, it is a question of occupation, and history has shown that occupation will never be successful

There will be a hell of a lot more casulties before this is over, because many democrats are afraid of being labelled as cut and run cowards. Maybe they should listen to John Murtha instead of sacrificing our youth to a lie

5. I heard some young kid was so worried about his mother worrying
about him, he told her he was going to Japan, not Iraq. He was killed. I am SICK OF THIS SHIT!
