I am so tired of hearing of how the courts are wrong in overturning the "will of the people" in invalidating same-sex bans in various states. Did I miss a chapter in American History that said the courts role is no longer one of protecting the minority from the will of the majority when it clearly violates the principles embodied in The Constitution.

Apparently it was the same one that declared that WE are now accountable to OUR government. An earlier class taught me it was supposed to be the other way around. Silly.
