1. A union group. Trippi tried to smear Gephardt and Kerry with the charge
but it didn't pan out for him.

Isn't this the tenth thread on this?

2. Which Union and who did they endorse? If it's the tenth thread I haven't
seen them. I do know having numerous threads on a given subject here isn't *out of character*...

Since your counting, how many were there on the *scream* ?

13. What are you asking for? Gep and Kerry were smeared by Trippi implying
Edited on Mon Feb-02-04 02:54 PM by blm
they were involved when it was a union group that made the ad. It was all over the TV at the time.

That ad, btw, only used Usama while saying the world was still a dangerous place, as I recall. It was only Dean supporters who claimed that the ad compared Dean to Usama.

also...wouldn't Trippi have been all over the place screaming about Kerry and Gephardt if he HAD proof they did it?

Why do Dean supporters obsess on this smear when they should know by now that was a pure political ploy by Trippi to smear the competition?

7. A group called Americans for Jobs, Healthcare and Progressive Values
Whose top dogs included past Kerry staff and Gephardt contributors (plus the guy who started the web site Progressivevalues.com - is Tim Raftis who has shown support for Clark).

The story isn't who worked within the group it is WHO CONTRIBUTED to the 527?

That's a question I would like answered.

Same with Club for Growth....

Any answers?

12. That's the news we've all been waiting for.
And we thought it would come at the beginning of this month, but so far it hasn't.

14. Wrong. There was one guy who LEFT Kerry's campaign during the shakeup.
To smear Kerry with that charge is disingenuous.

16. I didn't say anything to smear Kerry
All I said was a past staff member - Just like the Gephardt contributor and the Clark supporter - the candidates can't be responsible for their supporters actions.

What REALLY matters is who gave this group the money to run the web site and the ads - if the contributors match up to one specific candidate then there may be some questions asked....

But, if what I read here is true, we'll never know...and that is disturbing.
