Anybody remember the Gold Star Mom who disrupted Laura's speech?
A couple of years ago. She got a ticket and at one point she stood up and took off her outer shirt and underneath was a t-shirt with something like "why did you kill my son?"

Security dragged her off and she spoke to the press afterward, then they dropped the story.

Don't remember her name, but she should join Cindy!

6. Yes, I recall that incident.
I think there's been a lot more simmering below the surface. After all, we have almost 2,000 moms and dads. Thousands of siblings, relatives, in-laws, and also children of the killed servicemen/women.

Speaking of dads, why are the so silent? Interesting that we're mostly seeing moms speaking up.

11. September 16, 2004.
Niederer lives in Pennington, New Jersey (some sources say Hopewell). She entered a Bush-Cheney rally of about 700 at a firehouse in Hamilton on September 16, 2004. Niederer had a ticket to the rally, as required, and was wearing a T-shirt which read "President Bush You Killed My Son," with a picture of her son. During the Bush's speech, Niederer shouted "Why did my son have to die?" and "When are yours going to serve?" (a reference to Bush's children).
