A fun exercise

Think of the 10 smartest people you know. How many of them are Republicans? When I did this it came out to be 1. He is someone I really admire for his compassion and intellect. When I asked him about it he said that he essentially agreed with all liberal stances but because he inherited a large amount of money, he voted republican. He said he was a one issue republican and he wasn't proud of it.

Even more fun, is to have a republican friend name the ten smartest people they know without mentioning politics. After they present their list, try to ascertain the number that vote republican. I did this with 4 staunch republican friends and their lists yielded the following: 2,0,2, and 1. We even verified the results. Only two were in question on how they voted.

2. Yeah but although not all repubs are stupid, I contend

very few are really smart, as in genius level. Did you do the exercise? I want numbers. Not scientific but hard to dispute when you have republicans name the individuals.
