They are being held Wednesday, August 17 at 7:30 p.m. There's an area where you can enter your zip code and find out who is holding one and if there is no one, scroll to the area where you can sponsor one.

I found two within only a couple miles of my house so I'll be participating Wednesday night and also will be inviting others to come with me.

7. Getting one planned

for Albany, NY. There is a concert that night at the Plaza so trying to figure out exactly where to do it. Lots of people will be there but it will take up a lot of the public space where you don't need a permit.

I just checked the signups for the one I'm attending. When I signed up, I was the first one. Now there are 41 others and it had to be moved to a shopping center because so many people signed up.

But that's not all--there was another location I considered attending and it has had more than TWICE the signups since I checked it: 92!!
