I loved this show when I was a kid. It was truly groundbreaking. At the time, the show was forced off the air when Reagan won because of the Moral Majority.

6. As soon as I read that line, the soundtrack kicked in ... loved loved LOVED Soap.
I was still in grade school, and probably really understood only 25% of what I saw, but I loved the way it made my parents laugh.

But I remember mimicking Burt when he was doing the invisible thing. Kids in my 5th grade class thought I was a loon. :D

11. And the TRULY wonderful Martin Mull!
Not that Fred Willard wasn't fabulous, but Mull's delivery was just the best. I was sorry Fernwood Tonight didn't stay for very long, but maybe it's best. Tom Waits' appearance alone was worth the existence of the show.
