Great stuff, although to me the late Jeremy Brett is THE definitive Holmes.
And no, Holmes NEVER said 'Elementary, My Dear Watson!' in any of the original tales...

I have taken to listening to the BBC on-line, and they play old Sherlock Holmes dramatizations on Sunday afternoons. Strangely addictive.... I think the movies are next
