Today I saw our cat sniffing and chewing on the catnip in the garden.
now I know why the catnip plant is all flat in the middle.

Flame the Cat jumps up into the raised bed garden and rolls around in the catnip plant, getting herself into an altered state.

No wonder she alternates between full-blown psychosis and total lethargy.

Apparently that catnip is the shit.

1. I had a black cat that would do that in our catnip patch..
once he had it all stamped down and he was high, he would hiss and pounce at anyone that got within three feet of him. His eyes would get all dilated.

2. Our girl did the same thing with catnip in the garden.
I keep it in a pot in the house now. Try some valerian on her, I think that is cat heaven.
