He's at it again.
Now he's replacing the outdoor light fixtures and installing a new cabinet/vanity in the downstairs bathroom.

All in anticipation of TM's graduation.

I shudder to think what he'll be like when she gets married.

7. Seriously...what's the issue?
Your house looks nicer and he gets to have fun...you do realize that he's looking for excuses to play handyman/carpenter right? If you would just let him have carte blanche, you might get a porch, patio, gazebo, deck, trellis or something out of it.

You have no idea how lucky you are...I'm jealous and lacking in those sorts of talents.

11. At Lowe's this morning, I told him that we should
probably install 'High Power Toilets'. (Yes, that is what they are called) and ease her psychotic little mind.

10. Do you guys have a Habitat ReStore nearby?
Ours has some amazing stuff, super cheap. If he's singlehandedly determined to tear down your house and rebuild it from scratch, one fixture at a time, you might as well save some money on it.

18. Here's the listing.
That'd be a great place to tell him about when you want the house to yourself for a few hours.

27. My sincerest sympathies...
Colindad decided last month just after we'd finished our long overdue master bath addition that the month before school let out would be the best time to gut and remodel the other bathroom! Really, what are they thinking?!

So, my house was torn up *again*, but the job got done just within two weeks of the last day of school. Then there was also the glorious misadventure of our younger cat, who decided that freaking out and hiding behind and under the tub during the gutting was the best way to deal with strangers tearing up his house! I swear these things can only happen to me! :D

And I'm still laughing at the Disney castle pic above! Ooh, hey maybe you could get Lowes to sponsor the wedding! ;-)

29. Tell her she can't get married until he needs a walker
otherwise he's gonna rebuild your house and build one for her! And she doesn't want her Dad to die of exhaustion, does she? So, no marriage until he's in a nursing home!

But it's kinda sweet, really :)

Khash.
