Snow booties for cats?

I know there are booties for dogs -- are there any specifically made for cats, or should I just go for the ones for small dogs?

My mom takes her cat out on a halter/leash every day, but her cat doesn't like to get her paws wet and cold in the snow - any suggestions?

3. If you value your life at all, do NOT attempt to put booties on a cat...

They may not get you at that moment, but days, months, or years down the road, BAM! You are going to the hospital after getting mauled by a housecat, and that's no fun.

4. this is a very docile, declawed cat...

before you shriek, my mom adopted her from a shelter; she had already been declawed. My mom and this cat are devoted to one another... just thought I'd try to find a pair, mostly for fun, and see if the cat would let my mom put them on her ;-)

Actually, my ol cat Smudge would have worn booties if she knew that was what I wanted. She would do anything she knew was really important to me. :cry: Nearly 9 years gone and I still miss that sweetie.

10. She wore 'clothes' when a sever allergy had her pulling fur out

Vet had to give steroids, but said she would keep fussing with her skin and it wouldn't really heal unless we managed to get her to stop. She was a very small cat and could not wear one of those collar things and get around.

I had just made several 100% very soft cotton tee shirts for my brother and had lots of scrap material Made whole body suits (well, open where she could pee and poop, but otherwise covered) Made several so she would have a clean on each day.

First time I put one on her, she started to bite at it. Told her she had to wear it and there was NEVER another attempt to remove cat garments. She wore them for about a month with no complaint. On a lark, I made little matching hats and she even put up with my sister laughing at the site. She thought herself most beautiful because she was doing what I asked of her.

Her allergies vanquished and lovely fur restored, she lived to a grand old age, getting me through some really horrible times. She passed when she realized I now had Havocdad to look after me almost as well as she did.

Her and the other cat both walked on leashes with harnesses, but the big male liked it more. HE would sashay around with me and visit all the old widows in our neighborhood. Most gallant and polite, he was a favored guest in many homes. One lady always brought a saucer of milk and a cookie to him when we called.
