I was just thinking that if I had to quit posting on DU for whatever reason, many here wouldn't notice. Having a frienship online is a little different than having a physical friendship. It seems they are easier to forget. :shrug: I don't know what I am saying really. My point is I don't care what others think of me. I try to be a good caring person. And that is all I can do.

There are a few (mostly lounge lizards :) ) whose opinions I care about, even fewer who I wouldn't care about at all, but as for the rest, I'd at least listen to to see if their arguments have merit.

As for totally not caring though, the poster would really have to demonstrate that they're either a loony or a complete ass or just generally someone not worth listening to. I've never put anyone on my ignore list, only thought about it a few times before.

That or the one caring to everything everyone else says would get all depressed and paranoid...?
