but I speak very little English. All my Korean friends would rather learn English than teach me Korean. EDIT: I speak very little KOREAN I mean. :crazy:

I had to train people from Brazil at work and was very interested in learning about their language, Portuguese. But they were much more interested in me critiquing their oral and written English. :)

anyways, sometimes when they have me read their written stuff it is not really technically grammatically correct bur is oftentimes charming - I tell 'em, it's fine - don't worry about it. Almost like a unique dialect. :)

That doesn't tell a translator anything. Is it two paragraphs of technical material? A personal letter? An anime script? Advertising material? A mere two paragraphs of a patent can take half an hour. (I don't know Korean, but I'm a Japanese-English translator.)
