Months ago, after being prodded to apologize for his "faggot" comments, he consented to do so.
He got canned anyway.
Now he's trying to blame the gay actor he made the comment about.
He blames former cast mate T.R. Knight for stoking the scandal that led him to lose his role in the ABC hit. Knight is the one who should have been let go, he told the Houston Chronicle.
And why is it Knight's fault? Read on...
Washington drew fire after using the anti-gay epithet backstage at the Golden Globe Awards in January while denying he'd used it previously against Knight, 34, during an on-set dustup with co-star Patrick Dempsey.
Note that he said "faggot" TWICE. Both times referring to T.R. Knight.
Knight, who announced soon after the initial fracas that he was gay, told talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres in January that Washington used the slur against him and that "everyone (on the set) heard" him do so.
"That's a lie," Washington told the Chronicle. "I used the word during a disagreement with Patrick. I apologized for that. We shook hands and went back to work."
No, you dope, it's not a lie at all. You were YELLING at Patrick Dempsey, in fact you grabbed Dempsey by the throat and yelled, quote, "I’m not your little faggot like T.R Knight". Everyone heard you.
But in your tiny little brain, since you weren't yelling
at T.R. Knight, but only
referring to him, well then, it's okay. And therefore it's Knight's fault, not yours, since, of course, you were
innocent in this matter.
Washington, who said he is considering a lawsuit, accused Knight of exploiting the controversy in order to get a salary increase and to enhance his role.
Yeah, confirming to Ellen DeGeneres something YOU said is "exploiting the controversy". Sure.
What a dweeb. Spin all you want. Too bad the truth is out there on the Internets.
Oh, and good luck getting another acting job, you homophobic jerk. In fact, good luck getting anyone in the media to even listen to you after today.
Loser.
