My dogs ate food from Bern's Steakhouse tonight
Bern's is lauded as one of the finest restaurants in the world. For whatever reason, it's located here in Tampa. I ate there last night with my family, as my brother...my absolute opposite, loves this type of stuff and is in town. Dinner was 5 hours, including dessert. The best part? My pups ate the leftovers this evening. Well, not all of them. The leftover salmon my mom ordered, I gave to the cat. This whole episode really made me laugh. Why? Because of The Lounge. This is bigger than humane eggs.

If you really want to drool, check out the menu...or the wine list. The largest wine collection of its kind in the world...

1. So your brother isn't vegan?
I bet he's not a scrawny little thing either.

2. Good frikkin grief, no
He'd kill it and grill it if he could. He's 6'4" and not scrawny in the least. Though, his body composition is very different than mine. I wish he was healthier.

4. But I AM
a scrawny little thing, when compared to some non-vegans.

Take, for example, most recent Mr. Olympia, Jay Cutler:

11. Okay, well...
most of us don't find that type of "not scrawny" to be attractive AT ALL.

7. I loved Bern's when we
lived in Tampa. Also liked the Colonnade on Bayshore and Don Jose's in Temple Terrace (where we lived). Really miss some of the places to eat in Tampa. Here it's mostly steak and Mexican, or for a change, Mexican and steak. Every once in a while, hubby gets out our copy of the Gasparilla Cookbook and tries something new.

15. A "Dessert Room"?? Exqueeze me?
Dude, that's fricking awesome!! Then I made the mistake of clicking on the link which detailed the list of desserts - unbelievable! I've never seen a dessert menu like it! I guess it grabs me so much as I rarely eat dessert these days myself...
