I hate "one size fits all" manuals! - a rant about bicycle building.
We built my daughter's new bike yesterday and the manufacturer had a manual that was for like 6 different models, and none of them looked like her bike.

Hopefully we put it together correctly.

:grr:

1. Did It Have 2 Wheels
handlebars, and a seat?

and were they in the right places?

Don't you just hate the fact that nothing is made here anymore even instructions!

2. Yes
and it had a part that I am not sure whether it was a "packaging" part or whether it is crucial to the operation of the bicycle.

I had to put the front wheel on, disassemble and reassemble the handlebars and put them on, and screw the pedals into the cranks. In addition, I also had to put the seat on.

3. If your child has pedals where the feet go and is sitting on a seat
while steering with handlebars, you probably got it right. Just don't forget to secure the brake lever (if the bike has coaster brakes)

4. My father incorrectly assembling my first bicycle in a drunken stupor
on Christmas Eve, 1964, scarred me for life...

To this day, I hear the plaintiff call of the bicycle bell and memories of shattered youth fill my soul with a darkness that can only be described as the great void....

So be carefull...
