and we are eagerly making plans to continue the revolution.

How's life? Make any DU meetups these days? I missed the X-mas one ... I forgot why?

Tarrant's still redder than a politburo reunion

Aquarius and I are having a lot of fun though...she just finished Sweet Charity and Hot Mikado...she's in D tonight for the Spelling Bee musical...

16. Oh yes, that looks good.
Tell Aquarius she should TELL us in the Texas forum when she's in something and we'd go up to see her again, I'm sure! I know YellowDog loves musicals too! It's such a good excuse for a field trip, hee. I saw the revival of Sweet Charity on Broadway and it was no end of fun.

as far as Tarrant goes, just trust to demographics and hard work. I can't believe how much work our judicial candidates put in. I'm sure that even though the stars were in our favor nationally, that helped a lot too. :D

17. I'll let her know when she gets home
I know she had a blast when you all went up to Denton for her performance in "...insert play here.."

She did Fiddler on the roof in Grand Prairie earlier this year...

BTW...she's really looking good these days...working out etc...I'm really happy for her...

until January...LOL

Now that we've retaken the house and senate...maybe the NEA funding will get an increase...

What's going on in your area with community theatre?

22. It's interesting....
the community theater scene in like Garland, Mesquite and so on usually have old favorites and musicals and so on, and as you get into Dallas proper, those kinds of familiar works are done by Theatre Three, DTC, and the larger, more professional theatre companies, and the small, sort of DIY companies, do a lot of independent works, like the Festival for Independent Theatres, and so on. I like all of them. :P But my DTC tickets are my standby. They did a bang-up job on Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Love love LOVE Tennessee Williams! :D
