Everytime I think it's going to change to snow it just starts sleeting harder. Nothing is moving on the highways and Lambert Field is at a standstill. It's been doing this since early this morning and the sleet is so thick in some spots it looks like snow. South of me some people have heard thunder and I thought I saw lightning a while ago. :scared: :scared: At least I've got electricity, a lot of people don't!

I can deal with snow but I hate ice! Many years ago we had thunder snow which is a beautiful phenomenon. If the wind picks up we may be toast from downed powerlines, at least that is the word from the weather wizards in St. Louis.
