Ah, Pimm's Cup. Summer has arrived!

3. Mine is my Dad's fave drink - Moscow Mule

Chill a pewter or copper mug, over ice pour 1.5 oz vodka, fill with chilled ginger beer (Jamaican ginger ale will do), a splash (1-2 drops) of bitters and a generous squeeze of fresh lime.
It's perfect on a hot afternoon when the 'chores' have been done - or at the end of a very hot day.

I've not tried a Pimm's Cup, but it'll be next on my summer drink menu - with cucumber!

Where do you find Pimms here in the states? My sister brought some over from England when she visited last summer and it's long gone.

5. Any good liquor store

should carry it. I live in Annapolis and there are several liquor stores here that stock it. If your store doesn't carry it regularly, don't be afraid to ask and see if they can special order it for you. Inquire about half case and full case discounts too - if you indicate that you want 6 or 12 bottles, they are much more agreeable about doing special orders.

I'm also liking Pama pomagranate liqueur with san pellegrino and a shot of pom juice.

9. Have you tried Pimm's Turbo.

One makes the Pimm's as normal - then gently add a shot of gin to the top.

Absolutely ideal when one doesn't have anything else to do for the rest of the day, other that lie around.

one part peach schnapps
over ice in a tall glass
fill rest of way with tonic water
garnish with a lime
cool and refreshing
delicious
