Because of Katrina, the chimp will knock two days off of his vacation!!!
He'll be back on WEDNESDAY. :grr: I guess that re-read of My Pet Goat is taking longer than he planned :grr:

http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/08/30/bush.hurricane.ap/index.html

(snip)
"President Bush will cut short his vacation to return to Washington on Wednesday, two days earlier than planned, to help monitor federal efforts to assist victims of Hurricane Katrina, the White House said Tuesday.

(snip)
The president had been scheduled to return to the nation's capital on Friday, after spending more than four weeks operating from his ranch in Central Texas. But after receiving a briefing early Tuesday on the devastation Katrina unleashed, the president decided that he needed to be in Washington to personally oversee the federal effort, White House spokesman Scott McClellan said.

Bush had traveled here to deliver a speech commemorating the Allies' World War II victory over Japan and promoting his war-on-terror agenda. Later Tuesday, he was flying back to Texas, but spending only one night at his ranch. Bush was expected to visit the region affected by Katrina, but details on that trip were in flux as the White House worked to make sure the president would not disrupt response efforts."

OK. I think my head is going to explode now. BTW, what happen to the "He's not on vaction, the west wing is being renovated" sack of shit lies?

3. I couldn't believe how he was yuckin' it up in Arizona yesterday!
Let's make him watch the CNN video of the man who lost his wife while saving his children. Oh nevermind. He's a heartless bastard.

7. Pretty stark contrast between that and the press conference
I just saw with Gov. Blanco and Sen. Landrieu. Those two don't look like they've gotten more than a couple hours sleep in the last few days.

8. One of the people answering questions at a press conference in
Mississippi was in tears at the thought of what was happening (I don't recall who it was at the moment). And, that fucknut was in AZ telling jokes about his "En-TOUR-age."

10. Fucknut is right
It's important and urgent enough to cut his vaca short, but not TODAY? or YESTERDAY? or the day before? It's not like we didn't see it coming

5. Cut his vacation short. Did not know he had it in him.
What an odd man he is. I feel bad he had to give up almost 2 days.

9. Two theories:
1. He's scared shitless to talk to Cindy Sheehan.

2. He thinks that Katrina is a terrorist attack.
