3. Today's Movies...
Private Lives
The Barretts of Wimpole Street
Romeo and Juliet
Marie Antoinette (1938)
Idiot's Delight
Her Cardboard Lover
The Women
The Divorcee
A Free Soul
He Who Gets Slapped
Their Own Desire

As of right now, they are up to Romeo and Juliet (1936). I think that Norma was a bit old to be playing Juliet, but that's okay. She was also MUCH too old to be playing a 16 year old Marie Antoinette, but I still adore her.

5. Thanks ...
I'm at work and TCM is considered special by Comcast digital, so I'd have to pay extra, so I don;t have it :-(.

When I did have it and I was ever home sick, I'd watch TCM all day. I saw The Women and thought it was a great movie - thought I'd be a "campy comedy", but it was solid.

I had Warner cable in the Boston area until the Comcast cabal took over; now I got to pay an arm and a leg if I want TCM, the only channel I ever watched...

12. One Of The Primary Reasons I Switched to DirecTV Was Because Comcast...
... didn't even OFFER Turner Classic Movies, AT ALL in my county. Unfortunately I still keep their basic service in order to receive a higher discount on my Comcast internet service.

11. Check out this site.
http://www.divasthesite.com/Acting_Divas/Norma_Shearer.htm

By the way, TCM did once did a monthlong program of pre-code movies, some of which featured Shearer. The series was called "Complicated Women" and showcased movies that would have never slipped past once the Hays Office really took hold of things in Hollywood.

15. You're Right...
... it's better than a high school production, but I've seen it performed better by small college and community theater thespians.

Nice sets and costumes though.
