It's hard in the beginning, I know. Hippiedog Hank and I started with just 1 to 2 mile walks each day about 3 years ago and over time developed a cycle which gradually increased our mileage ... now we walk 4-5 miles a day (unless it's extremely hot out).
It gets to be an addiction - I can't sleep at night unless I'm phyiscally worn out and I look forward to it all day at work - but it's a much, much better addiction than most.
